I try not to put too much work-related gubbins on my personal blog, but I’m so damned excited by the new project my company – *audioninjas – is working on. We’re producing a brand new tech/gadget review podcast, but with a twist. Rather than just doing the reviews, the panel will give their opinions on the kit and invite questions from the listeners.

We’re busy putting together the first episode, and already we’ve secured our first celebrity guest – The X Factor & E4′s very own Peter Dickson. We’ll be chatting about his iPhone app “Peter Dickson’s Pocket Announcer”, as well as his favourite tech of the moment. We’ll also be talking tech protection – specifically iPad cases. We’ll be looking at DODOcase and possibly another case.

If you’d like to participate, or just get the skinny on when the episodes are out, you can find the show on:

Twitter: twitter.com/techshowpodcast
Facebook: facebook.com/pages/The-Tech-Show/184302514918088

By the way, we only need a few more ‘Likes’ on Facebook so that we can get a proper URL!

In Business For Myself

// October 12th, 2010 // No Comments » // Business

Those of you who know me reasonably well (and even those who pay close attention to this blog) will know that radio is one of my passions. Depending on your point of view, the radio industry in the UK is either (a) on the cusp of a renaissance, or (b) on its arse. Either way you look at it, there are fewer opportunites for talented people to get noticed. Just so you don’t think I’m big headed, John Collins and Steven Scott are the ones who class me as talented.

Anyway, as there are fewer radio stations and fewer opportunities, I decided to create my own. Opportunities, that is – not radio stations. This decision in turn has created *audioninjas, or Audio Ninjas Limited, if you’re from Companies House. So far, I’ve picked up a couple of radio stations, one of which I can’t really publicise right now..

It’s safe to say that we mainly to audio for radio, but we’re in the process of producing a podcast or two, and we’re available to create all kinds of corporate audio, in-store radio stations, etc. If you’re interested in what we’re doing or would like to know more, head on over to www.audioninjas.eu and follow us on Twitter!
